RGM PLUS: A MODERN CLASSIC

RGM Plus painting & palette knives are a worldwide favorite. These flexible steel knives are finished with a special electrolytic coating that helps color release more easily from the surface — so they're easier to paint with and easier to clean.

The painting knives are more flexible and feature a long-necked design that keeps the handle clear of the painting surface. The palette knives are stiffer and have their blades mounted directly to the handle for stability and strength.

RGM knives have solid wood handles, flex steel blades, and brass ferrules. They're made in Italy by experienced craftspeople.

SET OF 12 WITH GIFT BOX

This new set includes twelve of the most popular shapes for moving, mixing, and applying paint. Suitable for work on canvas or panels, these knives open up a vocabulary of sharp and expressive marks that brushes can't duplicate.

Included are RGM Plus models 5, 13, 20, 22, 40, 45, 50, 61, 62, 81, 96, and 109, all with brown handles and brass ferrules. All 12 knives are packed into a blue paper gift box with slots to firmly hold each palette knife in place. The box has a plastic handle at the top and can be used as a lightweight carrying case.

RGM — MADE IN ITALY SINCE 1961.

RGM is a family company in Maniago, about an hour's drive from Venice in the northeast corner of Italy. The town of Maniago has been known for many years for its fine cutlery, shears, and blades of all kinds. In the late 1950s, Rosa Gastaldo Mario decided to turn this local expertise into an art supply business, and in 1961 he officially established RGM to supply painting knives to artists around the world.

Today, RGM is operated by second and third-generation members of Mario's family. From a small factory in Maniago, they're constantly working with artists to create new shapes and styles — because fine art never stops changing, and new tools are always welcome.
