Made from ultra-thin washi paper and an advanced, extraordinarily gentle adhesive, Nichiban #222 is the ultimate tape for masking sensitive surfaces. We tested it on several soft, cotton art papers, and we detected no damage whatsoever to their surfaces after removing Nichiban #222.
#222 makes very sharp paint lines, as you can see in our test photos. It releases effortlessly from virtually all surfaces. And it's so thin that paint can't bead up next to the tape.
Available in 12 mm (0.47"), 18 mm (0.7"), and 50 mm (1.97") sizes. All rolls of Nichiban #222 are 18 meters (285") in length. Made in Japan.
